In August 1972, the Secretary of the North Kalimantan Communist Party Central 2nd Bureau, Huang Ji Zuo came to the First Division coastal area. All members of the Party Central 1st Bureau, including Lin He Gui, his wife and I, came from Matang forest area to the coastal area to meet him. There would be a joint meeting between the Party Central 1st and 2nd Bureau. Lin He Gui opined that he agreed and supported the intention of Huang Ji Zuo’s proposal. However, he disagreed to have both Huang Ji Zuo and I going to the eastern part. He proposed that if necessary, only one of us should go. That meant, if I would go to the eastern part, Huang Ji Zuo should stay behind. If Huang Ji Zuo would go to the eastern part, then I should stay behind.
Actually this proposal was to stay put. The only difference was to interchange Huang Ji Zuo and me. Lin He Gui called this proposal the second proposal.
Lin He Gui insisted that we should choose one of his two proposals.
After holding his proposal for a while, he indicated that we could make our final decision only after we had contacted our comrades in the Third Division and had a better understanding of the situation of the Third Division.

He confirmed that he had joined the attack. The attack of the government army proved that they had accurate information.
We had taken high degree of confidentiality during the visit of Huang Ji Zuo. A few people knew about that. Some people said that Huang Ji Zuo was exposed because he visited his hometown on his way. That was not true. Huang Ji Zuo returned to his post with his followers, including Huang Ji Quan, in December 1972.
Huang Ji Quan was in the propaganda unit working on the publishing in Lin He Gui’s centre at Matang forest area. His superior was Zhang De Wen. He was transferred to the coastal area with the approval and assistance of Zhang De Wen. Huang Ji Quan had been approved to go to the eastern part to help Huang Ji Zuo.
