Abstract In the world that people live in today contains many causes to death. One of the main causes to death in our world today is cancer. Cancer is one of the top leading causes of death in the United States. But have you ever asked yourself what exactly is cancer. Cancer is a disease when cells begin to grow out of control and begin to spread abnormally throughout the body. Due to the growing of these abnormal cells it can result to changing how your body should work. There are many types of cancer there is not just one. Such as lung cancer it’s a very serious type of cancer a human can get. Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of deaths in the U.S. Lung cancer begins to develop when cells grow abnormally in the lung tissue.

Another way to avoid it is by testing your home for radon levels. Having a high radon will make your home a safer environment to live in. The lungs help your respiratory system improve and helps you inhale oxygen. By smoking your tissues and cells in your lungs will not let you move fresh air throughout your body. Studies have been showing throughout the years that not exercising 4 out of 7 days a week can result in lung cancer. The reason it causes lung cancer is because not exercising damages the cells. Radiation leads cancer cells because it leads to chemical balances of cells. The changes in cells is what leads to cancer. The damage in genetic material DNA contained in all cells of the body will cause harm to genetic mutations which can be passed to other generations. One way to avoid or block radiation is by being around high density concrete. Also by wearing a lead cloth around or by being inside lead lined
