They sit in the middle of the picture as the focus while their food being the empty space. This family’s food are less of half of what the Revis family have and judging on the conditions of their home and where they live, it would appear those foods are enough but is not what you would call bountiful. They share everything, with all the water in a large gallon bottle with no cups and nothing is being thrown out because they spend only what is $1.22 USD (Kennedy 134). Consisting of six, not including the father who most likely is working seeing that they have longer work hours, their foods are a handful with only spices being their biggest assortments. Compared to the Revis family, the foods they have might not be much but it is a healthier food. The circumstances of where the Aboubakar was born only blossoms dangers all around them and no opportunities to have much food. On the other hand, the Revis family lives in a safer place with plenty of food surrounding them. Even with such big differences in their way of living and cultures both families are more than capable to survive and take of each other. Even if the Revis family is richer, it does not make them the happier family. They do not always eat the healthiest of food and it does not give them the experience the Aboubakar family get with their dinner gathering. We can even say that the Aboubakar family gets more out of life with their limited resources than what the Revis family could ever
