I cannot stand the way that media is biased these days. The way that the liberal and conservative outlets are so clearly divided with their reporting is ethically wrong in my opinion. Everything you read online now is attacking one side or the other and it’s not even about the issues anymore. I find it so hard to read that I just give up. Finding information that is not biased is like finding a needle in a haystack.

While there’s nothing innately unethical about having one political opinion or the other it is unethical to skew facts based on these opinions. But when someone holds these opinions so strongly I don’t think the bias is always clear to them. I do believe that the owners of these news sources are often purposely unethical in practice. A reporter does have a certain duty to tell the truth as completely and factually as possible but in a world like ours today you may not have a chance to get a job in mainstream media and maintain your highest ethical standards. If you have to change a story here and there in order to fit into your site’s bias but are also able to do some really great reporting in another area is it worth the
