I knew I wanted to take The New York Experience from the first moment I heard about it. I heard stories of students sitting in four-hour lectures, learning about things they didn’t even care about. I always was fascinated by New York City since I have always thought of it as the capital of the world. I grew up in Queens, NY so I was no stranger to the city. Every Christmas or special occasion my family and I visited Manhattan and every one of those visits I fell in love with the lights and the atmosphere. I loved knowing that there was so much to do at my doorstep. By the end of my sophomore year I had set up my schedule with all the courses I planned on taking before my graduation. While planning this schedule I left space for NY Gotham.
