As a nursing student being an activist has many positive sides to it. Firstly, activists will thrive in placements due to their ability to problem solve. I will be able to look at a situation and actively work to find a solution, this could be through trial and error or through other means, usually without considering the consequences. This means that I will also be able to learn from my mistakes or even gain valuable experiences that my fellow learners could potentially miss out on. However, being an activist in nursing will make it much harder to resist new situations where potentially my skills will be challenged to a risky extreme.
