"Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it." (George Santayana). There is endless knowledge in the world, from the living and in the books of the dead. This world becomes so much larger once one opens their minds to the information discovered by the past. It is so important that we as society understands that such wisdom is out there. It is well-known fact that this planet changes unpredictably and profoundly. There are little precautions to be taken in order to prevent any natural danger that may arise. As for the current alleged issue of Global Warming, well if the predictions for it are true there isn’t much to do. There are endless possibilities as to why the earth would heat, “ Rising CO2 levels increase plant growth and make plants more resistant to drought and pests” (100 reasons why global warming is natural, Meredith). To just assume that any rise in climate temperature is a negative change, and that it is because of human action is completely ignorant. It is well known that this planet will go through phases of dramatic weather changes to balance its climate. The earth changes in these ways in order to survive, to keep its environment healthy for the long run. If global warming is really happening it is because the world needs the change in order to survive, and the change is happening on its own. Perhaps humanity has contributed to the heating of the planet, but if anything our actions were only the catalyst of the situation. Whatever phase the earth is going through there are no preventative lengths we can go to, this force is one much greater than our
