Every time someone thinks about cafeteria food, they think the worst. Cafeteria food can’t be so bad after all, when it provides multiples good things such as: vitamin A, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin C, protein, small amount of carbs, etc. People sometimes wonder, “Aren’t carbs unhealthy because it makes you gain weight?” Consequently, carbs can be bad when it’s consumed in a large proportion, and with other unhealthy foods. Small amounts of carbs can have several benefits, three majorly positive things about carbs are: makes the heart stronger, used in weight loss diets, and help prevent weight loss. Proteins and vitamins can from different fruits and types of healthy food such as: oranges, apples, watermelon, fish, and types of meat. All of the food …show more content…
All of the student that that Delgado interviewed are currently formal students at Thomas Jefferson Early College Highschool. Delgado started the interview by asking, “Do you like the Cafeteria food”, Janice Rodriguez is currently a junior that is attracted to people’s nutrtion. Rodriguez stared by saying that she doesn’t eat the school’s cafeteria food, because she’s vegan friendly. Delgado asked about the healthiness about the food and Rodriguez replied saying, “It is healthy because there is the correct portions that a student should be eating and they are made up of all the food groups, however students don’t eat the food because it’s revolting which makes them buy junk food” Jessica Zamarripa is currently senior she likes to take focus on people’s nutrtion as well. Zamarripa believes that the food has not taste, and it’s not healthy because the majority of the time is it extremely grease. Zamarripa also mention how it’s unhealthy. Raul Rodriguez a junior, believes that the food is unreal, and mention how the schools should take out the cafeteria food because it’s leading to students by junk
