The focus of this investigation will be “How did the treatment of Jews differ from the Non-Jews in Nazi concentration camps?” According to my first source victims of the Nazi Concentration Camps were separated into groups according to race. “ The Nazis believed that the human beings could be classified collectively as “races”, with each race having different characteristics that had been passed on genetically since the first appearance of humans in prehistoric times. Jews were also barred from civil service and from certain professions, although some individual Jews were granted exemptions under certain circumstances. Soon enough most of the Jews were incarcerated in concentration camps and eventually sent to death camps to be killed. This source includes content about how and why the concentration camps were created and a lot of answers to questions involving the Holocaust which is a value to my investigation because I can use some of that information to pick out certain little details that go with my research question. In the concentration camps 6 million Jews lives were lost, but in the source that was researched it is said that Jews weren’t just killed and targeted in German but in other countries also. Jews were the considered center of attention and was considered a threat because of their beliefs and their views on the world. Elie Wiesel, a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust, has said, "while not all victims were Jews, all Jews were victims." “Every Jew was to be wiped out…” These excerpts from the source that’s getting evaluated is proof that the Jews did not get treated equally. No matter what Jews were a walking target while other people, even though the were Nazi enemies, weren’t always killed, just arrested or had more mild concentration treatment. Because the Jews were the most against the Aryan views they were the most target because the Nazis killed anyone that would defy them. In the Jew race the women were treated supposedly the worst. If a woman was pregnant in a concentration camp she would automatically be more likely to be put in a death chamber, gas or acid chamber.
