In some chapters, I found the implication of a few contents are similar to our Chinese ancient literatures. For example, in the story, “The Young Carpenter”, here is a cunning sentence: “… to do by others as they would have others to do to them” which can be found counterparts in the Chinese language straightforward. “What you do not wish yourself, do not do onto others.”
Words from the Analects of Confucius which are conversant to us all can be seen in the Bible, too. Jesus left Nazareth to begin his work as a Teacher of Truth at his thirty. Why the number “30”? In the Analects we can search out some information corresponding: “a man should be independent at the age of thirty.”
