It was a little after nine when we finally got into the city, and we were all sure there was place we had to go. The others had talked about how much they had wanted to Navy Pier before we even left; even the two other people from Chicago want to go. No matter how much they wanted to go, I couldn’t get myself to want to go as much as they did. The thing is that Navy Pier is one of the most touristy places in the whole city, which means that it’s always filled to the brim with people, and I’m not exactly the type that does well emotionally when surrounded by a lot of people. Obviously, I didn’t tell them my feeling because I didn’t want to ruin their fun. I didn’t need to worry about it anyway because none of us thought to check to see that
