I want to take advantage of opportunities to engage in generative research and vouch for the scientific validity and credibility of naturopathic medicine. Participating in efforts to increase the number of states that license naturopathic physicians will also be on my priority list. My parents plan on moving to our land in Virginia for retirement, and I would love to catch up with them eventually and continue to practice as a licensed naturopathic physician. On a more local scale, I am motivated to encourage people to become more involved, informed, and empowered. With my people skills, I can persuade others to participate in their organic community gardens and join health programs such as the Women, Infant, and Children Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (WIC FMNP) and the Senior Farmer’s Market Nutritional Program. In summary, I plan on advocating for naturopathy through generative research, patient testimonies, community outreach efforts, national health events, and scholarships for the next generation of naturopathic medical
