Human development has been regarded as one of the most highly controversial topics in the world of psychology. Nature vs Nurture is labeled as a debate. Nature and nurture has to do with behavior, feelings, personality, and intelligence. Many that believe we inherit our personalities, feelings, behavior and intelligence are on the nature side. Others who think its environmental influenced are on the nurture side. Nature and nurture goes hand and hand in the development of the human process.
Nature us the inborn, innate character of an organism. Psychologists refer to our nature as a genotype. A genotype is one’s genetic code that is determined by the sequencing of the chemicals that is in one’s DNA. Nature is genetically influence. Nature is also genetic traits that evolve from generation to generation appears in almost all parts of human behavior, personality, and mental processes. Personally, I feel as if my personality traits, genetic disease, eye color, hair color, and skin color were inherited from my parents. For example, my father and mother both suffered from eczema. I was born with eczema, and still suffer from it. By looking at my parents and me proves that I inherited my skin color, eye color, and hair color genetically from my parents. Our genotypes

Nature vs. nurture has been one of the oldest debates in history. Many individuals believed that one’s development is in one’s DNA. Others believed that majority of things were influenced by life experiences and environment. In my development, I believed nature has a more influence in my life. I believe this because I feel as if I grew up knowing many content, such as, words, how to do certain tasks, and much more. Personally, I inherited a lot of common sense from my parents.
