This is why our personalities are so unique and different. Nurture is the idea that we can be taught behavior. The theory “tabula rasa”, claims that our minds begin as a blank slate. In the article “Empiricists” are advocates for nurture. They believe all behavior and choices come from learning, and that we can be trained to do anything no matter our genetic makeup.
