The Terra-Cotta soldiers of the Qin dynasty provide a compelling imagery of sculpture art on a grand scale. The Emperor Qin Shihuangdi of the Qin dynasty (221-206 BCE), was buried with battalions of life-sized guards decorated in full military gear and formations. The creatively detail of the soldiers shows how carefully the artist wanted to represent the emperor and his warriors.
