They felt it was the righteous thing to do because of the past decisions. The government provided them with land that was segregated from the other American citizen, giving them freeway to run their land as their culture permits. There’s approximately 22 percent of Native American’s living on tribal lands., however, theses tribal lands are called reservations The Native American has the highest crime, alcoholism, gang membership, sexual abuse and especially higher suicide rates than national average. The living conditions on the reservations are often referenced to third world country. In 2011, the native’s suicide rate is 1.5 times greater than the general population. Suicide is there second cause of death. As a national average the native American’s child abuse is two times greater, however, rape incidence with women is two in a half likely than national average. Even though, alcoholism is within the youth, gang membership controls the youth as well. The government tend to be more attentive to the three ethnic groups and excluded the native’s even though, they 're a part of the country history as well. They could not fully have created a life for them as well as generations to come because their homeland was taken from them. However, now the government has given them land but continues to take their land resources. Many people would say that the land is still not they’re because the government is still stripping them of their resources sort of like they did in the past.
