To be given the opportunity to apply for the National Honors Society fills me with delight. When students are nominated they are chosen by their excellence in scholarship, leadership, character, and service with their community and knowing i meet the requirements I would gladly like to become a member of the national honors society. The National Honors Society will give me the chance to be acknowledged other than just my honor roll excellence but my excellence overall. During my younger stage of life always had the ambition to succeed starting off by always being ahead of my classmates, getting my work done before everyone else, and also helping students who didn't understand the material. By the time i entered the 4th grade i switched to Battle Creek Public School REACH program at Valley Elementary and continued to receive marvelous grades and show a positive attitude. I Continued through the REACH program at Springfield Middle Staying On High Honor Roll, giving me the chance to enter high school with all Pre-Advanced Placement Classes also doing dual enrollment my freshmen year. I maintain a GPA of a 4.1 while still balancing a social life outside of school including being Co-captain of the Battle Creek Central High School Cheer Team. …show more content…
During my first year of high school I tutored my peers in mathematics. Now currently being a sophomore I continue helping other students. I Strive to make sure everyone is successful and lead them in the right direction. Im Part of Student Government and I represent as one of the voices of class of 2018, I desire for everyone to do better. Also I Cheer during football and basketball season, and as the co-captain, when the captain or coach is not available i must step up and take charge even if it is something as simple as stretching the team out before a nice
