*New Topic: Reflection of My Professional State and National Code of Ethics
After reviewing the Minnesota and National Code of Ethics, I understand the expectations for myself as an educator. I must take these standards very seriously; otherwise it could end up costing me my job. There are steps I can take as an educator to ensure that I reach these ethical standards put forth before me.
After reading both codes of ethics, there are two very basic foundations of ethics that are laid out nicely in the NEA Code of Ethics, the commitment to the students, and the commitment to the profession. Both codes list similar standards in them and all of them revolve around these two central ideas. To display my commitment to the student I must do everything
