Self-esteem is moulded by your thoughts, connections and experiences. Self-esteem is your general assessment of yourself on how you feel about your capacities and impediments. When you have solid self-esteem, you like yourself and consider yourself to be valued with the regard of others. Self-esteem is connected to both physical and mental wellbeing. Nathaniel Branden was the master in the field of self-esteem and composed broadly on the point. As indicated by Branden (1995), self-esteem is comprised of two principal segments: • Self-Efficacy: Confidence in our capacity to adapt to life's difficulties. • Self-respect: Believing that we are meriting bliss and accomplishment.
Branden trusted that self-esteem originates from inside us, and depends on six practices that we participate in. He called the practices the Six Pillars of Self-Esteem, implying that they bolster the improvement of high self-esteem. The more we take part in these practices, the more grounded our
