Personal Narrative-Ski Bus

The first trip of ski bus two years ago, should’ve been the end of my life, along with all my other friends who shared the experience with me. It was the first trip of the year, and everyone was so excited. All the way there, people were talking about how they couldn’t wait to “get on the slopes again.” It was pretty exciting, if I do say so myself. Once I arrived, I hopped off the bus, and ran towards the lodge to go get my gear that was already prepared for me. The snow looked wonderful, lightly layered across the mountain going up and up and up until your eyes met the top. I burst in the doors and right away the employee asked me, “Last name please.” I replied to him right away, “Magbaleta, size 12.” “Thank you sir” he said as he went …show more content…
They said that they were at West and that we could use the crossover trail to get there in about five minutes. I got off the phone, and told my friends. Soon enough, we were on our way. It wasn’t too long until we met them, maybe about two minutes. When we got there, all they said was “Haha! We tricked you guys. We lied. There is no way to West. Now we have to take the side run called Parachute to get back down.” We all looked at eachother, and we all knew what Parachute was. It was the first run you saw driving on the way to Snoqualmie. I twas the run you could see way off in the distance at the top of the mountain. I was scared for my life. I felt like there was no way out, and for me, there was no way out. The only way it was possible for any of my friends and I to get down the mountain was to conquer one of the biggest slopes at Snoqualmie: Parachute. We were all standing there, frightened because the snow was unbelievably icy and the fog was so thick that you could only see about ten feet in front of you. Not only this, but it was around 9 o’clock, which means that it was dark out, and we couldn’t see where we were heading, we couldn’t even see more than 10 feet in front of

The raindrops trickle down from the peak of my forehead, dance across my eyebrows, and finally take the leap down the 400 foot drop. Adrenaline surges through my veins. Soaked jungle trees completely surround me and pouring rain beats away at every inch of my body, like I am enclosed in the belly of a tsunami. The light Honduran air entraps me while the wind whispers and sings to me in a cold whistled tone. The zip line stretches across the gaping 400 foot drop and I cannot seem to locate the end of the line.…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

On Thursday we awoke to a serious reality, we were running out of groceries. It was apparent that if we wanted to continue eating, it was time to start fishing with a little more enthusiasm. I thought maybe we should go see if our luck might be better on the far side of the lake by the rocky cliff where we 'd seen little fish dimple the surface of the lake. On the hike around the lake, the dang dog, who normally trotted at my heel, went nuts chasing scent trails and eventually disappeared. We spent time calling him, but when he failed to respond, we gave up.…
