Narrative Essay On Mountainclan

"What do you mean, DarkClan has taken control of MountainClan?" Moonsong asked incredulously as she faced the CaveClan cats that stood in the middle of camp.

Next to her, Rainstar's tail was twitching with worry and Wolfheart was digging his claws into the ground.

"Exactly what I said," Hailfur meowed, ear twitching. "DarkClan killed Cinderstar and Sunstrike, and Mintleaf, as well, when she refused to step down as medicine cat. Rumor has it Lionstar made Lightpaw stop warrior training and now he's being trained by Darkwind as a medicine cat to care for the new section of DarkClan."

Moonsong pinned her ears. "They killed Mintleaf?"

Hailfur nodded grimly.

Rainstar spoke. "These are dark times for the valley Clans. Lionstar and Morningcloud's

"I say we meet in three days time, and that we each bring our Clans queens and kits. I propose we move the queens and kits into a safe place outside the valley in no cat's land. They should be safe there until this can all be settled."

"Rainstar -"

He raised his tail to silence her. "Moonsong will make sure they are all safe. I also suggest both of our Clans send two warriors each to accompany the queens and help hunt to keep them safe."

Hailfur thought about it for a moment and exchanged a glance with Condorfeather.

"We will take your proposal to Boulderstar, and see that we are there in three days," Hailfur responded. "There is nothing we would like more than to see the queens and kits safe, and if moving them to no cat's land is the only way, I think Boulderstar will agree to the plan."

Moonsong waited until the CaveClan warriors were gone to shoot a look at her former mentor. "Rainstar, if Lionstar and Morningcloud are this determined, I don't see how moving into unfamiliar territory will deter

"Moonsong, make your choices before the meeting, and choose well. I think I will also suggest Fernspring go with you queens. You will need a medicine with your kits coming soon, and the risk is too high that Lionstar would kill her."

"He would," Moonsong murmured. "She is too stubborn to step down as a medicine cat. Just like Mintleaf was."

She turned on her paws and padded toward the nursery, her heart heavy. She had never been fond of DarkClan, but there were some good cats in that Clan. How could any of them let this happen, let things go this far? She supposed they could simply be afraid of standing against their leader and deputy, but warriors should know the difference between right and wrong, even if the leader's word was law. They should have put a stop to it themselves, and instead it was falling on CaveClan and LakeClan - and on her, if the prophecy was anything to go by.

"It's not your fault," Firestorm meowed as he fell in step next to her.

She shrugged. "It is. This all started because Morningcloud couldn't stand that I got away from him. I know this de-clawing idea had to come from his. Only he could come up with something so... so demented. And his scent was all over Duskclaw's body, and word has it he was the one to take Cinderstar's remaining lives. He's just become so... so

Lately, I’ve found the sound of crashing waves, wind brushing through my hair, and the slight smell of salt hitting my face very soothing ever since I had met my best friend, Percy Jackson.…

ONE DAY, WHILST changing into a fresh tunic after a tiring day of practice races, Rubio was summoned to the Domus Aurelia by Aurelius Falco. He’d been called the into the tablinum for a special meeting, a meeting, in all probability, designed to detail him on the upcoming Ludi Plebeii, Rubio thought to himself as he made his way out his concrete cubicle on his way to the villa. Within a few lanky strides he made it to the steps of the terrace and then to Falco’s private office, where he was greeted by old Ptah, and who duly ushered him in at the Dominus’ imperative behest. “Have a seat, lad,” Falco said, gesturing to a comfortable chair. “Would you like some wine?”…

Eve had considered the possibility from the start, when he had rounded the corner and found her in the midst of subduing one of his underlings, that she might not be able to slip away from him. He had very quickly proven his wings to be quite functional, after all, and other than the city, which had been her best bet of slipping away, any open ground she would have tried to cross would have been a virtual death sentence. Even if he didn't roast her from the sky, he could swoop down, as dragons supposedly did, and she'd be right back to where she was now, face down and with a dragon atop of her. Had she landed worse, his weight might have done some damage, but he didn't seem to have been trying to rough her up that much on impact, so much as…
