Narrative Essay On Mindy

It was Mindy’s Freshman year of high, the beginning of a new start. Her plan was to be active in everything that caught her interest.

While sitting in 3rd Period, English I, Minda sat by a girl named Kelsey. Kelsey was a sophomore in English I recovering a few credits from her freshman year. She told Mindy that she should try out. After the school day had ended Mindy went to the basketball tryouts and there was this group of “mean girls”. Every high school usually had this group of mean girls who went tot the school thinking that they were big, terrifying, bad, and could tell anyone they came across what to do. Their group leader’s name was Brooklyn. As they laughed at Mindy’s hair a junior girl by the name of Alexis walked up and told Mindy that Brooklyn had been doing that for the past three years of high school and to not worry about her. Tryouts went on and eventually ended with Coach Mathis saying, “Good work today girls, the teams will be posted tomorrow outside on the gym door.”

The next morning as Mindy went to school she looked at the tryout list and she had made the Junior Varsity team. The coach left a note that there would be a meeting during lunch. As lunch rolled around and the

Mindy had gotten dropped off at Brooklyn’s house and was welcome in by a sassy little insult. Mindy continued ignoring the insults being thrown at her all night until she’d had enough. “What’s your problem? You’re always SO rude to me and I haven’t done anything to you, EVER. You don’t even know me, I’m leaving!”, Mindy said as she started for the door. Brooklyn yelled, “Wait! Let me be honest, I’ve never had much love as a child.
