Scavenger Hunt Persuasive Speech

Momma told me to come here...the scavenger hunt. It’s of course because of the money, but she doesn’t care if I win or not. It doesn’t matter if I lose, this scavenger hunt is a viral TV show meant for entertainment. Entertainment meaning even if I don’t find that mone- the reward, I sti- we still get paid. I tried to explain to my mother that entering this show is dangerous, last episode a thirteen year old girl was caught on fire, and she passed away. The sad part about it is that she probably could have been alive today, but the company refused to take her to a burning center. She lossed fluid in her vessel because of it, and it caused her body to die off shock. The company did not allow her body to be removed from where she was, so her body sat there until her flesh vanished and her bones sunk deeply into the black soil. This scavenger hunt is not some childish scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt can last up to almost a month if it has to. There’s no backing down either, if you want out of the game, that's too bad. Once you’re behind these gates, they won’t let you out until someone finds that reward...so you can only push forward. The company won’t be providing anything, but I guess it’s expected considering they’d let children die in this game. I had to make sure there was something to eat, I’m a growing boy, so I wouldn’t be able to last very long without nutrition. In my backpack I had a pocket knife I was given on the street, well I wasn’t really given it I stole it from a shop. Next I made sure to put a bag of almonds and jerky for protein, and four water bottles. Will it last me over a month? No. I don’t have enough money for a months worth of food, I’m sure I can sneak around someone else’s backpack and see if they have some food though. I stuffed a thin layered cover in my backpack, but it probably won’t be warm
