It was on a Sunday evening. Curiosity got the best of me and all I could think about was checking out my new neighborhood. I had just moved in the previous day and spent the whole night unpacking and arranging the seats and other staff. I woke up late at around 5pm; I was very tired and had slept very late, then I went out for a walk. I took a long stroll slowly at the side walk of the main street for about one hour. I knew I could do this, pass with no fear. The dogs stopped barking as I was closing by, this was neither a good sign nor a bad sign. This changed everything, I shrunken immediately. I tried the eye balling them but I was not sure if I was doing it right because it was not just working. In fact, it was making the situation even worse. The dogs looked like they hustled food the whole night and found nothing; I was the only oasis in the desert of disgrace. Looking at these dogs, all I could see was discomfort, fever, cerebral dysfunction, anxiety, agitation, abnormal behavior,

I crouched down and pulled a treat out of my pocket. Extending my hand I turned my back and closed my eyes in an attempt to make her comfortable. After two minutes of high hopes and aching knees I started to accept that we should just find another dog to walk. Just as I was about to leave I felt the tickle of whiskers on my palm. I hear the loud, rough sound of the door opening, as I enter my soft, green house. Today at school had simply been horrific. My alarm hadn’t gone off this morning and everyone was in such a glorious mood when I arrived to the all too familiar building (note the sarcasm). What my dog has taught me Humans are basically social animals, and in learning to coexist more peacefully, our pets could teach us a thing or two. Humans are sometimes arrogant enough to believe that our lives matter more than others, but in owning a dog it 's clear to see why it doesn 't. Having been a dog owner since the age of nine, I can claim that a lot of growing and maturing goes on during that timeframe. Pets have this ability to teach people things that even humans cannot.…
