“Gaby, our parents have worked so hard to move here, being from an immigrant family is not easy and the struggles that we go through. The following Monday she wasn 't sure if to call her mom and tell her what was happening but she knew it would make it worst so she let it be. A random thought creeped into her head that night that maybe he was doing it to impress his girlfriend or to impress his friends who also had tattoos. So she texted him to ask him that but within minutes he called her sounding upset over the questioning. “You know me better than that Gaby, I can’t believe you 're asking me that. You know I don 't do stuff to follow other people and definitely not doing it for my girlfriend.” he said. Quietly, she said okay and they said their briefs goodnights. The following day, mid afternoon she gets a picture form him. It was the outline on his forearm of the tattoo. She was freaking out, telling is not too late to walk out and avoid all the trouble he was about to get into. Yet, the next thing she received from him was a video of the tattoo artist already tattooing on him.
