Naremburn is considered the friendliest neighbourhood in Sydney’s lower North Shore to the locals. The suburb is not only friendly, but also the ideal place to raise a family. You’ll find parks and ample public transportation in Naremburn. The Naremburn Library, on Central Street, is the perfect place to join a book club and engage with others who love to read. While Naremburn isn’t loaded with cafes and restaurants, there are still several local eateries with great food and friendly service to enjoy. Health food lovers will love going to the Sprout Wholefood Café & Grocer for fresh and healthy meals. Overall, Naremburn is a quiet suburb close to all the amenities you can want in nearby suburbs and Sydney.

It caters to students between the ages of 7 and 12 exclusively. Students are often referred to Naremburn School when mainstream schools are no longer an option.
Parks – Naremburn Park is the most popular park in the suburb. It features a sandpit, water play pumps, basketball and netball courts, a bocce area, swings, and slippery dips. The 140-acre park also has amenities like park benches, public toilets, BBQ, picnic tables, and a fenced playground. Three other small parks with various amenities in Naremburn include the Talus Street Reserve with native bushland and tennis courts, Dawson and Market Streets Reserve with a park and playground that overlooks Flat Rock Gully, and the Bicentennial Reserve Naremburn park with outdoor recreational facilities and urban bushland.
Areas of Interest – Flat Rock Creek Bridge is built over Flat Rock Creek and has been renovated, repaired, and maintained since 1866. St. Leonards Catholic Church & School, founded in 1894, is a landmark in Naremburn that is no longer a functional school.
