Reflective Essay Process: 3 Steps To My Writing Process

I did not have a writing process; I just write what came to me. But when I was reading the text book I was starting to realize that my writing process was like a lot of peoples writing process. The writing process that the text book describes is easy to follow, it gives you 1,2,3 steps so you don’t get lost when you start to write. When it comes to comparing my writing process to my text books writing process we have a lot in common for example, if you have ideas it says to narrow your topic can be manageable to readers this can be done by gathering your information and organizing it. How we get ideas are all different I like to watch TV, Melissa likes to clear her mind while listening to music, Allison drives or vacuums, and Johanna likes quite around her. Another thing is Allison, Johanna, and Melissa said what the most effective thing is about their writing process is their organization while mine is just putting everything I think in one place until it makes sense to me and others. If we get stuck in our writing process Allison walks away and comes back to it later, Johanna keeps reading what she wrote until her ideas flow again, Melissa does what Allison does and walks away, I listen to music. I have learned from the team what different people do when writing. I will learn somethings from them but I always will go to the writers and text book I know. I will improve my writing by writing papers for my class and listening to my instructor’s comments on what I do wrong. One thing that I will do more is to ask questions on my punctuation, I have great ideas but my punctuation is not that great. I look forward to learning in this class about things like
