Is College worth it? I would say it depends on many factors, but the most important one is being fully prepared to make your decision. Freeman Hrabowski’s use of strong ethos, and logos benefits his similar argument that students need to be educated about their possible decisions when it comes to choosing whether they want to go to college. Everyone is different and we should have personalized counseling that helps people choose what they want to do, not basic information that is provided for the average person.…
I also knew it, but I was lazy and careless. I am thankful that I have grown up and that I have begun to respect all of the opportunities given to me in life. The areas that I have improved in are definitely my study habits, and not being afraid to ask my teachers for extra help. I used to be afraid that my teachers would think I am stupid, and that they would judge me if I admitted to them that I didn’t know how to do something, or that I couldn’t do a problem. But I have recently grown to realize the it is essential to the learning process to ask your teacher 's question.…

The move from a tight-knit school of 650 students to a public school with 2,000 students was terrifying. My grades through junior year dropped as I got a sense of how the real world is; teachers don’t repeat the assignment, grading errors don’t fix themselves, and I had to learn how to fight…
Before moving to Maryland, I personally believed that public schools could never match a private school education. Maryland completely changed my perspective on the possibilities for public education. The high school I graduated from was better than my old private school. Define and describe at least two areas each of personal and academic growth that you have experienced as part of completing this course. The first academic growth I have taken on while studying Aboriginal is habit. In the States, we are assigned homework just like this class, but instead of having one homework assignment per week it was sporadic. So keeping a steady flow of a lecture and reading due every single week on the same day and same time made me gain a habit of doing my homework every Sunday.…
