My Rocket Physics

The distance the rocket will travel will increase because the rocket has more mass. Newton’s 1st, 2nd, 3rd law and aerodynamic forces had an effect on the rocket. The changes made to the rocket was that more mass was added to the rocket. Two grams of clay was added to the nose cone. The straw is 205 cm body length and there’s 3 fins on the bottom that are 4cm x 2cm. Newton’s 1st law is if an object in rest it will stay in rest unless an outside force acts on the object. Also, if an object in motion will remain in motion, unless an outside force acts on the object. For example, a football will move in a straight line at a constant speed until another force affects it. The car jack is pushing up on the car with the same amount of force with which the car is pushing down on the jack. I have to put force on the rocket from the back so the rocket could push forward. This law shows how force works in pairs. Aerodynamics is the study of forces and the resulting motion of objects through the air. Aerodynamic forces are generated and act on a rocket as it flies through the air. Studying the motion of air around an object allows us to measure the forces of lift, which allows an aircraft to overcome gravity, and drag, which is the resistance an aircraft feels as it moves through the air. On a rocket, thrust is used in opposition to weight. The nose cone, straw, and fins can turn the flow and become a source of lift if the rocket is inclined to the flight direction. In conclusion, if more mass is added then the distance the rocket will travel will increase because the mass will level up the rocket's weight. Also Newton’s 1st, 2nd, 3rd law and aerodynamic forces had an effect on the rocket. Finally I put force on the rocket which made it go
