How To Write A Reflective Essay On Home Health

This clinical rotation was interesting to find out about the population health and dynamics of Danbury and the surrounding cities. During the past five weeks, I have encountered many different diseases, people, environments, and professions in nursing that gave me a broader idea of what community nursing truly is. I got to experience four weeks first hand with two different visiting nurses in the Fairfield and Danbury area and one week with the Health Department going on health inspections at two different places. With this, I give you my reflection of what my experience has been so far in this semester. My first week with the Western Connecticut Home Care was exciting to be oriented with the administration and getting an overall picture of what to expect in visiting nursing. The administration explained to myself and another student about the myth that most people believe pursuing home health care is the easy route in nursing. Western Connecticut Home Health along with many other facilities require a minimum of one year experience in nursing before applying for their position.
