The first strength that I will speak about will be discipline. “People who are especially talented in the discipline theme enjoy routine and structure. Their world is best described by the order they create” (Rath, 2007). I am a firm believer that those top five traits/strengths describe me well. With that being said, I plan to employ all five strengths within my professional development. My actions for tackling discipline will be to recognize that everyone will not have a work ethic like mine. I must be able to adapt to others work ethics and way of accomplishing the task at hand. I must be able to seek out roles and responsibilities that have structures. Discipline is sought out by many in different ways. As a military intelligence analyst I must accumulate and analyze information and lead to its application and implementation. Data collection and interpretation will be my expertise. Lastly, consistency in my profession saves lives. Following rules, guidelines, regulations and paying attention to detail is critical. There are many men and women to my left and right within my profession that
