“The autobiography is due Monday, don’t forget!” The second bell rings. I’m late. As I walk slowly to my next class I try to imagine the things that happened in my life. The moment I was born, January 12, 2005. My life seemed very boring but I started to fall deeper and deeper into my memory of how I was born and raised until today. I was born in Surrey, Vancouver, BC, Canada after my parents had immigrated here with my 18 months old sister. She was born in 2001 and came to Canada with my parents in 2002. Back at Holly many people knew me and I knew them as well allowing me to build and maintain a comfortable relationship. However at this new school I barely knew anyone which made school not as enjoyable as it was a year before.
After few months of being alone I was able to make new friends and build a relationship inside my classroom. And not long after I had made these new friends it was already time for the summer breaks. The summer had been long and boring for me because most of the time I stayed home watching tv or sleeping. I couldn’t wait any longer for the school to start and was too excited when September 2nd came. It was finally my first day of school. Berkshire was still the same school with the same teachers but I had been in a different class with a new teacher and new classmates. Furthermore instead of being in a regular grade 3 class I was put into a grade 3 and 4 split class making it another new experience for me to get used to. It was fun to make friends with the grade 4s and also to meet new people I probably wouldn’t be able to meet ever again in my life. It was going to be another great year for me and maybe the best yet but that was when the tragedy occured. The grade 3s in Berkshire had always gone to Victoria, the capital city of BC, near the end of the school but unfortunately this year we were unable to go because of a strike. On top of this sad news I had to move schools,
