there was no more strength in us. It is not easy to survive out here since we are constantly
running out of food which leads to the starvation of many soldiers. My life here is all but comfort
and relaxation. Due to all the new weaponry that came out in the late 19th century we are

There was a lot of rain, and it filled the trenches with water. It
made the ground wet leading to us not having a way to walk and stand. Here it comes again, the
only way to stay in the trenches was to put dead soldiers. Oh, how it hurts me that I stood on my
friends all this time. Being in the trenches with wet ground and dead bodies brought a lot of
diseases. The diseases influenza, trench foot, typhoid, and trench fever almost got me sickened.
There is also this deadly new thing called poison gas that came out. Poison gas was one of our
enemies. After it came to your body it just ate up you skin, man you will not stand. Even the gas
