The photographers were accused of three things. First, they say that they followed her and were persistent so the crash happened. Second, they say that the paparazzi’s encouraged an atmosphere where a crash could happen. Third and finally, the press made it look like others killed her (Griffin). This conspiracy in a way does have some truth, the reason Paul was speeding was in order to escape the paparazzi. Also, some people say that alcohol was placed in the blood of Paul to make it look like he was drunk.
