Make sure you look at their welfare and they will be appreciative of your efforts by being productive and maintaining high company standards. As a manager, by demonstrating commitment to your organization, your staff, your profession and your industry, others will be inspired to stay enthusiastic about their roles and contributions to the company. If you demonstrate any sort of negativity, others will soon follow. For example, if you work in pharmacy and if pharmacist treat patient as customer and get angry on patient question then his staff will follow and will not respect patient question when they come to pick up the prescription. If leader has a bad day, the whole organization will have bad day. If you are enthusiastic leader, they your workforce will be as enthusiastic as you are. The only lesson we should learn from author is that everyone has a dark side, and the more you understand it, the
