As such, I need to become better about leaving my work at work, and balancing my personal and professional life hours. In order to do this I can engage in scheduled activities outside of work hours, determine a "cut-off" point for my work each day, and remove work email from my personal cell phone. As Gino Wickman says in his book, Traction: Get a Grip on your Business, I need to partake in clarity breaks, and right now I am so inundated with work that I bring it home with me, and by the end of each week I am exhausted (Wickman, 2011.) Leaders are not stagnant in their development, and as such, their goals are ever-progressing and their learning unending. For me, understanding my personality, values, strengths, and weaknesses, allows me to develop professional goals to enhance my leadership abilities. Through this course, and my experience at CSU Global, it is evident that my learning is not coming to an end, it is only enhanced.
