Essay About Moving School Memories

Even with my brother’s traumatic experience, I still think Hawaii is my favorite vacation that I’ve taken.
Junior High Memories: Moving to Yutan Moving schools as a kid was a big deal. A whole new place with lots of new people. Moving schools meant meeting new friends and teachers. My parents planned on buying a house in town, and Peyton already went to Yutan, so that’s why I was going there too. It eventually grew on me because of the relationships that I made and wrestling. When I first got to Yutan everyone looked at me like I was on display. Everywhere I walked people stared, but it didn’t bother me. Not because I was big, though, just because I was

Growing up in Hawaii, you're faced with multiple fun opportunities. For my self born in Kamuela of the Big island, being in the center of the island opened up many doors to many different activities. I grew up on a long narrow road that had many bumps and pot holes up and down the entire road. At the top of the road there was a small grade hill that I would bomb with a skateboard. My house was about three quarters the way down the road.…

I have always loved the idea of Hawaii. The culture and the traditions at the beautiful place called Hawaii has always been so fascinating to me. It has always, I mean always been the only place that I want my sixteenth birthday to be at because my Grandma Brenda went when she was 30 years old. And one of her last words before she lived no more was “ If you want to travel to on of the places I did, choose the most beautiful place I have traveled to in all my years of living, choose Hawaii.” I am too young right now; therefore, I can’t go at this very moment.…

I moved many times during my childhood and into my teenage years. I sometimes liked when we moved because it was excited to see what we could discover in our new community, but it could also be heart breaking at other times. For me growing up and sometimes returning to a community or area the best way I could remember who was who was by finding out what school I knew them from. Many times I would receive an odd look when I would ask this type of question. For this reason I decided to write my school influences by my grade and location.…

Christmas break in my opinion is probably the second best brake that we have throughout our school year. The main thing I like about Christmas break is how long it is. But even though I like how long we are off school it's almost like we don't have a break because basketball takes over. We get a few days off but the rest of the days are hitting the gym early in the mornings for two to three hours a day. The days I have is the best thing in the world because I get to relax and do something fun for once.…
