It is not always easy to uphold ethics when the situation is tough or goes against the majority, but it does become easier as they are practiced over time. In dealing with the commissioner of the law league and with my coach, I have come to understand that I use a different process in defining what is right and wrong. The process that I use when I am faced with an ethical dilemma is a simple one. I first identify the ethical dilemma and the factors playing into it. Then I usually make a list of choices, either mentally or written out. After listing the choices I have to make, I identify the possible outcomes (both positive and negative).
