I believe that education is a necessity and very vital to the development of human beings and to the world. It’s important that we record and collect, past events, findings and other important information, that would be passed down to the next generation and the generations to come. Teaching is the reason, the cause and core of technology, science, and everything else. Without the knowledge of the past we would not be able to advance into the future. I was first homeschooled at the age of five, but both my parents had full time jobs. Therefore it was difficult for me to get the attention and education that I needed for my age level. Due to the lack of supervision, I was caught cheating, so I know how easy it is to give up and not ask for help when you need it most. This childhood experience taught me that a teacher’s presence helps discipline students as well as motivate them to do their studies. After this incident at the age of seven, I entered school for the first time. I was amazed at the variety of subjects and activities that were offered. My favorite part of going to a community school compared to homeschool, was that you could make friends and be exposed to different personalities and background. He has created this passion in my heart to serve Him by loving and teaching children about the wonderful world He has created. To able to give and share with people the knowledge and experience that I have, is truly one of, if not the best feeling in world. God has also put my mother, who is also a teacher in my life to educate me on how to become a teacher and the skills that is required to remain one. I have been greatly influenced by mom by witnessing her strong devotion to God and her job, the intimacy that she has with each of her student and her determination to overcome every obstacle that she might face. Another person that was greatly impact my life and desire to help and teach other people, is my father, who is a flight instructor. I have not been present in many of my father’s classes but I have seen him bring his work home and invite students over for further education if they wish further their knowledge. He has also helped his fellow colleagues, which reveals my dad’s compassion and desire to help others by enlightening them with his own knowledge.
