There were students who were eager to be in the room, students who wanted to be anywhere but in the classroom, from freshman to seniors, and everything in between. Sidney, MT has very little diversity and a large majority of the students come from white, middle-class homes. I observed freshman through sophomore students throughout the day. There were cliques within the students, student athletes would tend to be around other student athletes. Also, students usually interacted with students of the same grade. In one class, I noticed a student who did not seem to interact with anyone in the classroom and was only concentrated on her homework. I approached this student, and after talking with this girl, it turns out that she had recently moved to Sidney from Texas. So it was interesting to see how a new-student stood out in comparison to the students who have been in Sidney for a
