I have experience of working with pupils identified with SLD, MLD, ESBD and varied difficulties. In addition, to working with children identified as NTE and slow learners by providing interventions in 1:1 and in small groups across the school including Upper KS2. I performed initial SEN assessment for targeted pupils and created, updated and implemented IEP’s. Furthermore, updated and maintained SEN register regularly along with pupil case studies across the school. My dissertation research has provided me the knowledge to gain experience to work with children having identified with autism spectrum disorder and severe behaviour disorders. I used new intervention technique to improve their communication, behaviour, social skills and academics. I actively promoted, positive behaviour management in line with the school’s ethos and behaviour policy.
