My Brother Research Paper

When I was eleven years old, I realized that my little brother and I are quite similar. Physically, we looked very much alike. We had the same blue eyes, the same light brown hair. My little brother and I grew up together with our dad, while our older brother grew up with our mom. Tim and I were brought up the same way, so we had our dad’s morals and values for the importance of family, duty, and honor. We also shared the same interest in basketball, video games, and history. However, I am the bigger history buff. I have always known that my brother and I came from the same family, that I had no doubts about.
After my parents’ divorce, our family got separated into two sides. My older brother stayed with my mom, while Tim and I stayed with our dad, and it was our choice. We have lived together for fourteen years now, which is how old my younger brother is. We have also always shared a room together, so everything that belonged to him also belonged to me, and everything that belonged to me also belonged to him. Tim

Tim have our differences, but our similarities are definitely more than our differences, that I had no doubt about. My brother and I were always together, whether it was from playing basketball, playing video games, competing against each other in academics, or even just hanging out with our friends. Looking back at my eleven year old self now, I notice that being similar to your brother is a good thing, but not a bad thing, and that having someone that I have connected with ever since the two of us were united in 2003 when Tim was born is the most amazing brother to brother relationship. Tim and I fight from time to time like every siblings out there, but we always forgive each because we know that in the end it is going to be just the two of us. I am extremely thankful for having a brother like Tim to share my experiences, and childhood

When someone undermines the government for the greater good, can they be considered a hero? In Little Brother, a high school senior named, Marcus Yallow, risks his safety in attempt to save his town. He was on the streets after a bombing of the Bay Bridge, then he was taken to a “prison” to be questioned to make sure he wasn’t a terrorist. Marcus arrived home 3 days later and was absolutely furious with Homeland Security and he was going to do something about it. In Little Brother, by Cory Doctorow, I personally think that Marcus is a hero because not many people have done something as brave as going against the government and he just wanted to help the citizens of his city.…

Growing up with siblings, especially siblings of the opposite sex, increases the likelihood of understanding more about people. Kluger states, rather elegantly, that “Sisters teach brothers about the mysteries of girls, brothers teach sisters about the puzzles of boys” (395). In The New Science of Siblings, Kluger describes a study conducted by William Ickes on students.…
