After my parents’ divorce, our family got separated into two sides. My older brother stayed with my mom, while Tim and I stayed with our dad, and it was our choice. We have lived together for fourteen years now, which is how old my younger brother is. Tim have our differences, but our similarities are definitely more than our differences, that I had no doubt about. My brother and I were always together, whether it was from playing basketball, playing video games, competing against each other in academics, or even just hanging out with our friends. Looking back at my eleven year old self now, I notice that being similar to your brother is a good thing, but not a bad thing, and that having someone that I have connected with ever since the two of us were united in 2003 when Tim was born is the most amazing brother to brother relationship. Tim and I fight from time to time like every siblings out there, but we always forgive each because we know that in the end it is going to be just the two of us.
