The reason I chose this study was because I had never heard about aesthetic leadership and I was interested in how this form of leadership could strengthen my leadership skills. By incorporating aesthetic leadership, this will allow me to adequately guide my colleagues and ensure they are providing the utmost care to their patients. Aesthetics goes beyond simply working in a profession to receive a paycheck. Particularly in nursing, one should have the innate desire, commitment, and passion to care for the ill. Nursing is an extremely stressful profession, and I do believe sometimes nurses may lose sight of what true nursing really stands for and begin to fall short in certain areas.
