After thinking about this question myself, I don’t believe there is a population I wouldn’t feel comfortable working with, however, in saying that I don’t think I would want to provide music therapy to those who have committed rape, first degree murder or pedophilia. Not that I wouldn’t feel comfortable around them, I just don’t think I would be able to personally provide support/therapy to these individuals. I believe this is the first case study I have read that has had group music therapy in it. I was wondering if there are specific populations that this is really successful with or if it is simply dependant on the individuals and situation? I know that Judith and Olive’s situation is different because Olive passed away suddenly, but Judith mentions that they worked together for about ten sessions, does the music therapist decide when a client is done with music therapy or does the music therapy continue until the client decides they are
