Music has been censored historically in an attempt to enforce morality in humanity. Many pieces of music, whether considered music or not, have been censored throughout history. Censorship is less about content and much more about communication and control of what the American people are exposed to. Despite the many different genres of music we know and love, without music, how could we ever express ourselves? If there were never any way for us to “rebel” against humanity, we would have no purpose in this world, and we would all be the same. With that said, maybe music censorship may be going too far to control what Americans are exposed to; this is the free world after all, right?
