Founded in the year 2005, Museum Africa is a combination of a museum and library, and has the world's largest collection of documents, books and artifacts pertaining to the history of the African continent.

Currently the facility functions as a virtual museum, and is dedicated to showcasing the achievements of both ancient and modern African civilizations by hosting several related programs.

The museum is also open to research scholars for conducting research on individual African cultures.
