Our Muscle Tissue consists of filers, that are highly specialized from the active force of our muscle contraction. Muscle Tissue provides motion, heat production, and maintenance for our posture. We have three types of muscles tissue, those are cardiac, smooth, and skeletal.

Cardiac muscle tissue forms the bulk of the wall of the heart. Like skeletal muscle tissue, it is striated. Unlike skeletal muscle tissue its contraction is usually not under conscious control and is classed as involuntary.

Smooth muscle, is tissue located in the walls of hollow structures such as blood vessels, the stomach, intestines, and the bladder. Smooth muscle fibers are usually involuntary, and they are non-striated. Smooth muscle tissue, like skeletal and cardiac

The article “The Subcategories of the Major Tissue Types in Anatomy and Physiology” by Robert Mullis talks about the different kind of major tissues in the human body. Tissue is a group of similar cells working together. There are four types of tissue that do different things: Epithelial, Connective,Muscle and Nervous. For example, the essential functions of epithelial tissues are secretion, absorption, protection, filtration, and excretion. Epithelial tissues are full of sensory receptors that play an important role in the way our bodies react to the environment.…

Daniel Ward Professor Meyers English 111 5 October 2015 Cavity-Back Versus Muscle-Back Could game improvement irons be preventing individuals from becoming a better ball striker? The game improvement concept that originated in the 1980s has offered a new style of golf club head called a cavity-back. The sole purpose of the cavity-back iron design is to combine forgiveness and playability for the average golfer and to lower one’s scores quickly. Traditionally, the muscle-back iron design requires a better swing and is not very forgiving however, it gives one more control and a softer feel. Muscle-backs gained their nickname from the original blade style iron, which were hand forged by a blacksmith over 150 years ago.…

The smooth muscle tissue is found inside organs like the stomach, the blood vessels and the intestines. The smooth muscle tissue is an involuntary muscle, meaning it functions on its own without been controlled. The main function of the smooth muscle tissue is to make organs tightens to move substances in and out of the organs, and it is mainly controlled by the unconscious part of the human brain. The second type of muscle tissue is the cardiac muscle and it is found in the heart. This muscle is responsible for the flow of blood throughout the body.…

Connective Tissues The connective tissue are as well in the group of the main tissue types and they are used in our body to allow connections between our body organs and even other tissue .Also they function as a storage of energy and provide protection for our organs .There are two main parts which constitute the connective tissue which are the cells widely separated from each other and the matrix which is the structure of support of the cell formed by fibers and the ground. Muscle tissue Muscle tissue are the most plenty tissue in many animals and humans .They make up our muscles which support our body integrity and can contract and relax depending on the movements that our body is making .They are composed by muscle fibers and many microfilaments which are made of two proteins called myosin and actin which make possible the contraction of muscles .Therefore the muscle tissue have striations which allows the muscle tissue to enlarge and shrink while we are making movements .…

Introduction Some people believe that we have only one type of muscle in our bodies that help us with all different types of tasks, however; not only do our bodies have different muscle types, they also contain different muscle fibers that are used for different activities. Skeletal muscle contain three types of muscle fibers: slow twitch, fast twitch oxidative, and fast twitch glycolytic. Most muscles in our bodies have different combinations of these muscle fibers, although our body recruits different muscle fibers for different activities. The first muscle fiber to be recruited are slow twitch fibers, are also known as Type I. “Slow twitch muscle fibers are the smallest in diameter, contain the least amount of actin and myosin, and allow…

My focus for this report is to explain the role of skeletal muscles in the body and a specific disease that can come from it, if not functioning properly. It is well known that the main function of the muscular system is to generate movement. The muscles work together to move the body and organs, while also maintaining posture and body temperature. There are three types of muscle tissue; skeletal, cardiac, and smooth. Skeletal muscle is the most common of the three, since it’s connected to bone all throughout our bodies.…

It contractions of the heart consist of the heart taking blood out of the heart and then relaxes to fill the heart back up with blood (Martini & Nath,2014 p.689-692). Each cardiac muscle fiber is made up of a single nucleus that has the appearance of striated or striped. The appearance is light and dark bands. Dark bands are made up of thick protein filaments that are produced by myosin proteins.…

What if all the exercise training in the gym brought little results due to one fixable problem with a simple solution? Muscle building is a substantial biological stressor that requires appropriate rest and proper nutrition. After a training session, nutrients are depleted from the body and needs to be restored for muscles to have the fuel to begin repairing and rebuilding. According to Schoenfeld and Aragon, timing is a known approach involving consumption of protein and carbohydrates before, during, and post workout trainings. The window of opportunity for refueling is within a thirty-minute time frame post-training (Placeholder1).…

The muscular system is the system of the body that contains smooth, skeletal, and cardiac muscle tissue. This system contains a variety of functions including movement of the body and of materials throughout the body, maintenance of posture, and heat production. Muscles are the only tissue in the body that have the ability to contract and therefore move the other parts of the body. The muscular system is important because without it, life would completely stop. Muscles produce not only voluntary movements but involuntary movements such as breathing, digestion of food, pumping blood etc.…

The main muscles that are primarily attached to the bones are the skeletal muscle tissues. These tissues add power and strength to move parts of the skeleton. The skeletal muscles are muscle fibers that are said to be striated, meaning that the muscles alternate light and dark bands or stripes along the muscle cells. Muscle cells are multiple embryonic cells that have fused together to make one big functioning cell. The individual muscles are covered by a layer of connective tissue called the endomysium.…
