Effects of muscular strengthening on chronic ankle instability.
I have participated in the sport of volleyball for ten years and an injury that is recurrent in the majority of my teammates and myself is ankle sprains. Not only are volleyball players affected by this injury, but all individuals who engage in physical activity. Ankle sprains can occur on and off the court, either way, it has an impact on our well-being and playing time. An injury can be an athlete's greatest setback and I want to discover a way to minimize or prevent chronic ankle instability.
