The lady stood erect behind the door, anticipating her lover to open the door. The gentleman had to be awaiting the look from his other companion, and surely she would want him breathing, yes? The voluptuous woman was overwhelmed by the querulous feeling in her gut. The beautiful maiden pondered the reasons that the princess would not choose her door, and how she could, and would, pick the tiger because she did not want him with another woman, his first and only beloved. Her only hope was that the princess would have enough affection for her Romeo, the one that she thought was hers only, to let him go.

The lady sat thinking as signs showed between beaus. She, still erect in her position, reflected the sound of the happy bells ringing and becoming man and wife, watching the princess gnash her teeth and tear out her hair as the first wooer married her only. The more she reflected, the happier she was. How the princess’s soul would burn with agony when the lady rush to meet her beau.

At last, she heard him maneuver towards the doors and made ready her most perfect smile, but it quickly disappeared. The should have been wife heard the other door open swiftly, met by screams of terror. The could have been mother heard her only true love become sustenance for the tiger. The would- be spouse vowed revenge on the princess, swearing to end her, like she ended her perfect fantasy. As her beloved faced the cruel fangs of the tiger, she ready at her plan.
