Mug Target Audience Analysis

Improved Essays
Our first main target audience is office workers. Office workers involves in lots of paperwork and important document during working hours. Our mug prevent these important document and paperwork from getting wet because it has a special feature to be attached to the tables. For example, if an employee’s workplace is full of papers and documents, even if he accidentally knocked over the mug, he does not have to worry about the documents getting wet or ruined because the mug can prevent such incidents.
The second target audiences are parents with kids or babies. Parents can be less worried about their kids getting burn by hot water or beverages if they are using our mug. Kids can be naughty and sometimes they will try to reach for things on table

Ted uses a lot of imagery in his free verse poem “Depression Glass” by using our five senses: see, touch, taste, feel, and hear. In line one, “It seemed those rose-pink dishes”, seems to be the main focus in this poem while they are used for special occasions, they still have an issue keeping something hot, “the plates like the panes of ice”. He used metaphors twice to compare the rose-pink dishes always being cold as ice and the cups’ inability to keep coffee or other beverages hot, “everyday mug would have kept/a splash hot for the better”. I take this as perhaps a regular mug would have been a better choice, but the hostess realized that it would have just clashed with the rest of the set like an eyesore.…

During the “Target Scavenger Hunt” assignment, my perspective of gender has been expanded on what society thinks about gender. In general, Target separate the products into different categories, so the products could easily be found. In other words, the way they organize the stores is to appeal and advertise consumers to buying the items. For example, like Daniel had said in class, women’s clothes would appear first before any other clothing because women/mothers looks for clothes than men would. The men’s clothes is usually way in the back than it would be for women’s clothing.…

Rhetorical Analysis of a day in the life of an IKEA Advertisement IKEA is a large Swedish company that stocks products needed for home life in a maze like warehouse with well known chains located around the U.S. and other countries. I came to know of IKEA shortly after becoming a first time homemaker; the ease of shopping for items I needed and did not know I needed became a simple task and felt that by analyzing this ad I could bring attention to a must go to shop for first time homemakers. I chose to analyze an IKEA ad meant to promote a serving cart that targets homemakers and beckons viewers to look inside of their catalogue for more low priced items. The purpose of the ad is to encourage consumers to beautifully furnish their homes by…

Progression is the ideal direction everyone wants to believe the United States is headed in, however, post-Reconstruction, the United States’ economy has deteriorated drastically. The first thought that comes to mind is probably the corrupt government and people in charge who drove this beloved nation to the dumps, but in actuality, every single citizen here in the united states contributes to the downfall of this country on the daily. One of the biggest factors unanimously discussed is the money taken and spent, but the real problem is the people behind the credit cards being swiped and the rigorous amount of luxury spending that goes to waste. America is showered with unnecessary luxuries that are of no use and evidently lead up to loss of over 25 billion dollars a year. The author did an exceptional job at highlighting the ridiculous amount of products wasted a year, and if every single American read the chapter and implicated it into their lives, America would be a greener, greater place.…

Advertising influences our lives by striking us with imagery and music everytime we turn on the television, tempting us as customers to buy certain products. From our televisions we are constantly being sold on the idea that the best way to achieve the American dream is to buy more and more. Throughout a commercial, food advertisers stay away from targeting specific genders but instead use other convincing and emotional aspects to influence viewers into buying the products being advertised. Parkin is right that food advertisers use many convincing aspects to persuade viewers into buying their products, but she seems on more dubious ground when she claims that they use gender roles for this use. Parkin states that food advertisers constantly return to themes that demonstrate the connection between cooking and women to promote the belief that kitchen work is a job just for women (Parkin).…

In the beginning, Starbucks founders believed that coffee was much more than what Folgers and Maxwell house had to offer (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). They felt the brands were too bland and that they needed to educate consumers about the rich brands of European style coffee. This basic branding decision was to enhance self-image carrying a status of being prestige and high quality that they communicated highly to consumers. While building their reputation, Starbucks only sold their coffee offerings in one of their own stores. The focus on quality of the product could not be compromised by selling it through a third party as coffee is a perishable item and they could not guarantee the freshness if it was not handled personally.…
